In the above paragraph I referred to ?Jewish Denial.? What do I mean by this? That today as in the 1930? and 40?s and 50?s American Jewry chose to avoid the implications of US antisemitism that, as the reference in this article makes clear, our Jewish leadership were fearful that, if we got too visible in pressuring Roosevelt to act that American antisemitism might prove to be as lethal as that facing our relatives in Europe.
