Shavit, however, is another story : he still has not apologized for his endorsement of Barak`s midnight withdrawal from Lebanon and abandonment of Israel`s Lebanese allies. In fact, Israel`s decision to write off its allies was cynical, immoral, and cowardly - nevertheless, Shavit called the entire sorry spectacle a "bold stroke." Then, as you noted, he still supported Barak when Barak did nothing after the IDF soldiers were kidnapped and murdered. Barak is NO military or diplomatic strategist - instead, he is egocentric, corrupt, and stubborn . Only Shavit and a few other dumb ass Israelis think Barak knows what he`s doing. |
