Now when you eat fish in Eilat you can be assured that it was flown in from far away from who knows where (not very eco minded) or fished out of the Red Sea by fishermen who trawl nets (killing turtles and tons of protected tropical fish that can not be sold) or coral blasters. The Eilat fish cages, under the tight controls enacted in the past decade, were truly an environmentally sound industry.
