| Israel chose to terminate the previous, year long, cease fire with Hamas by killing a Hamas official. Hamas chose to pursue a new cease fire for years, and Israel refused to consider the idea. That the current Prime Minister has suddenly developed a need for good news - any good news - at any price should not be seen as a `choice` by Israel. Rather it it is an admission that the Olmert regime has created a fantastic disaster for Israel, and only now - to save it`s master from prison - has chosen to grasp at any thing which might prevent the men and women of the Olmert Crime Regime from serving the time they so justly have earned. Haaretz, as a willing accomplice of the Olmert criminal conspiracy, might be honest enough to admit it`s role. But it will not, instead, we have it spouting twaddle about "the lesser of two evils." Israel has managed, in just a few years of criminally incompetent government, turn Hamas from the weaker power into the ruling power in Palestine. Idiots. |
