| "Sending the tanks" This is a recipe for a lot of dead Jews, JP. Hamas has lots of fancy anti-tank missiles. You`ve clearly forgotten the last major incursion when an IDF tank was destroyed by a missile and the crew of four were lucky to get out with their pants on fire. If Israel tries to suppress resistance with its warplanes the rubble will make tank warfare impossible, and the infantry would have to be used to take ground. We all know how well the powder-puffs of the IDF perform in close-up and dirty, street-by-street, house-by-house fighting. Hamas fighters want to exact savage revenge for all the butchery Israel has inflicted on the Palestinian people. The IDF want to get home as quickly as possible to watch ball games on their wide-screen TVs. |
