It is interesting to note that there are so many jews represented in congress, especially when so many people are beg. to question why the US has such support for Israel, even at times, at its own expense.
Before the rise of the Reich in Germany many lawmakers were either Jewish or heavily supported by the community, which was one of the reason that Hitler used to say that they were to blame for the peoples plight. It is tragic that some will still make the same argument, especially, as america continuous it slow downward spiral.
Let us hope that Jews are not persecuted in the future for being Jewish as Muslims are today in the US, where even saying that someone is a Muslim (Obama) is meant to discredit them. As when people would change their names from Jewish sounding names to anglo names to avoid discrimination. History unfortunately, repeats itself, in part because we repeat many of the same behaviors that have led us down a dark path. |
