God did not "give" oil to anyone...it`s like saying for some reason god keeps punishing the jews or the tibetans, etc.
Secondly, since when is Chavez and oppressive dictator? He won twice, democratically, even after the west (the US) backed a coup that WOULD HAVE created a dictator (Pinoche)....even when he tried to pass a new law giving him broad powers it was rejected by the people in a vote, what kind of dictator allows that?
Thirdly, there is no way that the US or the world will get off oil, China and India, are already created societies BASED on oil. And good luck finding oil in the US, by the time that any oil is found it will be gobbled up by increased population and consumption. Oil will be at 300 a barrel. |
