| Wonderfully arrogant, isn`t it? Israel not only *thinks* it can ignore its one and only patron, but feels safe enough to *say* so to the local papers... Well, you can never say this Israeli govt lacks chutzpah. I`m just not so sure about its political judgement.... Nobody gets "abuzz" about Condi`s statements any more? I would think we`ll see the Mother of All "Buzzes" if that lame duckie lets it be known that the USA might just sit on its hands the next time the Security Council debates settlement construction. Don`t take the Americans for granted, Olmert, coz Bush has often shown astonishing impetuosity, not to meantion a truly world-class bad temper. Insult him at your peril.... |
