If proof were needed for my statements earlier, it has been reported in (at least) the Jewish press here that Ron Prosser, Israel`s new ambassador to the UK (and an excellent appointment - he has already a very high profile and will stand for no nonsense in this, the European home of anti-Israeli activism) was snubbed by the Speaker of the Welsh Assembly on a recent visit to Cardiff.
In an email to his Plaid Cymru (Welsh Nationalist) colleagues, Dafydd Elis-Thomas said: ?I am unwilling to accept the invitation to meet the Ambassador because of the failure of the State of Israel to meet its international obligations to the people of the Holy Lands.?
Holy Lands? How many does this ignoramus think there are? So much for factual based criticism and good day prejudice. One things for sure, though, this bigot hates the England and the Enlighs more than Israel and Jews. (But G-d help you if you`re an English Jew...) |
