| An article a couple years ago said the Saudis had about 3 million bbl/day capacity they weren`t using, but the oil was of very inferior quality. I don`t know how much excess they have now and how much extra they could produce to make up for shortfalls elsewhere. But if they think a mere 500,000 bbl/day would stave off an economic crisis, think what Iran could do to cause an economic crises by withholding a couple million bbl/day. The West should think twice about pushing Iran too far. |
