| I can see the benefits to Hamas. The immediate one is preparing in a calm atmosphere for the next round of attacks. A long-term delay (tahadya?) benefits them due to their superior numerical growth. But what does Israel expect to achieve by a cease-fire, except a TEMPORARY calm for residents of the south? |
