| Hamas has always had an exchange deal on the table for Shalit and they have not wavered in their demands. Israel is not adverse to the idea of trading prisoners with Hamas. They have done it before. Israel has simply been seeking a bargain price in Shalits case and it has not been forthcoming. In the end, Israel will make the Hamas deal for Shalit. We will have to see if it is the same deal that they could have had two years ago. |
