Egypt has been mediating without success the Shalit release since hamas kidnapped him in 2006. Egypt reputation in the mediation is at play but Egypt prestige and int`l standing in the mediation is dragged down the mud by hamas . Egypt mediation will go till a short time after the Israel election in Nov. Meanwhile Kadima will keep with Meretz policy: the tit for tat strategy of pinpointed retaliation strike .
