| How can you lose something which never belonged to you Akram Zakaria? Granted Arabs have been astute enough to have chosen to live in the more fertile Region of Palestine ratherthan their own arid desert homelands and some even had beautiful homes and gardens when under the British Mandate..... but that does not make PALESTINE an Arab homeland. What Arabs owned there, their homes, gardens and groves did surely belong to them, but not the Region. An Englishmen born in China as did his father and even his grandfather too, will not make him Chinese ... nor will an Arab living in Palestine make him a `Palestinian` simply because he is an Arab. |
