| Ahmadinejad is absolutely right. All peaceful measures to stop the mullahs from getting the bomb have failed. In a letter to French President Sarkozy he gave the reason: there are countries like Germany, which would never adhere to real sanctions against the mullah regime. Quite to the contrary, German exports to Iran soared 13% in January 2008. Every day Iranian planes are leaving German airports full of freight only superficially checked. In one case the authorities discovered parts of the European Ariane 4 missile which could be used for the Iranian Shabab 4 missile. As the weekly Der Spiegel reported, members of the German foreign ministry are trying to curb closer investigation into this bullish market. As long as Ahmadinejad can count on such staunch accomplices like Germany, the outcome of this nuclear race is clear. Israel is being quite openly cheated, but it appears that the current Israeli government refuses to get the truth. |
