The mere whisper of a rumor that the Chinese central bank is selling dollars or will no longer participate in the US treasury bond auctions will send the US dollar through the floor, destroying the US economy overnight. Once the Iranian transactions flow through China, all the embargoes will be meaningless, since all the money will be going to China, then be untraceable beyond that. Of course if the EU can`t pay for Iranian oil, the more for China. In fact China can make a tidy profit by buying all the Iranian oil and reselling it to Americans for inflated prices. |
