Hamas is great, I have alwys known that. It respects its word, it has intensely humanitarian values, and despite the soft interior, it can defend itself very well against all sorts of barbarism.
What I cannot understand is : Why can Israel not reciprocate? Why does Israel always have to use barbaric, excessively brutal force to oppress the Palestinian people?
I am not a Palestinian, not an Arab, only a Muslim and a decent human being. When I posted on the same type of Haaretz blog on two different occasions a few months ago, asserting that as a Muslim, I know, KNOW BECAUSE I SHARE THE SAME VALUES AS THE PALESTINIANS, that both Alan Johnson and Gilad Shalit are alive, one reader answered as if he could lead intelligence agencies to investigate me as a possible `terrorist`: "How do you know? Have you seen him (Gilad on one occasion, Alan on the other)? Where?".
I mean: how utterly senseless can a good number of Israelis be?
