| ... vicinity as well as the Jewish neighbourhoods will remain under Israeli sovreignty. Only the Arab neighbourhoods, camps and villages will come under Arab sovreignty. Not a single "refugee" will settled on sovereign Israeli soil. Future borders will pass east of the major Jewish settlement blocs in Samaria and Judea, and in exchange it will pass west of the major Arab settlement blocs in the Ara Valley and the Triangle. Jews living in settlements in Judea and Samara will be permitted to stay put and become citizens of the Arab entity, just as Arabs are permitted to stay in Israel and function as citizens of the Jewish state. Any area vacated by the IDF will be de-militarized and only a small police force will be permitted there. A true long lasting accomodation will enable Jordan to assume control and sovreignty over most of the "West Bank", and will enable Egypt to do the same think over the Gaza Strip. A mutual recognition of the right to exist is a must! |
