Well, some comments. First, if Maureen Ann and others tried to slam this, I`d say they need to get a grip. Are ALL Jewish institutions objectionable?
I`ll skip the whole topic of overlooking the Holocaust, since that`s not really for me to discuss -- here at any rate. I started to -- then decided it wasn`t my business.
Finally, I think #7 may be out to lunch. I know quite a few Bay Area Jews -- and quite a few of them are firmly in touch with their identity. If that doesn`t include fervently and uncritically supporting Israel, read into that what you will. |
