| The author misses the point. What is Israel to do, abandon 200,000 settlers and only protect citizens within the Green Line. And the debate, the changes, there is a name for that, its called democracy and it has a price. But would you prefer the efficiency of Syria--a government that destroyed the uprising in the town of Hama and celebrates it`s mass murder. The same Syria that probably killed Harari and continues to commit crimes in Lebanon and has no domestic opposition. So, democracy is sloppy, but as Winston Churchill said, "Its the worst system except for all the others". |
