For so long, Israel`s "mad dog" policy worked perfectly well. You know, "you mess with us and there`s no telling what we would do"
Iran is on the other hand cold and calculated. They weight options carefully before making a move, but the projected - rather too successfully - a "mad dog" image of their own which is where the perception of existential threat to Israel is coming from.
At the end of the day and irrespective of Media/ Politicians/ Public hype, Iran knows if the nukes fly, there would be painfully one way and not away from her. Coming out of devastating 8 year war with Iraq nobody there wants another round.
Rather than being sheep let`s be smart and think of this as what it really is: Supremacy is Middle East politics.
Israel/ US have it, Iran wants it and hence waiving the Palestinian cause flag. If rather than being bullies Israel/ US could play it nice for a while (not than I believe that for a second) we all would see how easy it would be for all of us to live together.
