If the people commenting here actually read Thomas Friedman`s columns in the New York Times and his books, they`d probably note that he`s actually more to the political left. He`s in favor of a two-state solution to the conflict and the end of the Occupation, his book "From Beirut to Jerusalem" is highly critical of Israeli involvement in Lebanon, and he advocates both academic research on green technologies and corporate programs that can move these technologies from the laboratory into the world.
Hardly a neo-con. Hardly a hawk either. And, x in #3, throwing a pie at anyone is just plain juvenile and hardly something to be celebrated. |
