| As Mark points out, since Israel was unwilling to actually broker a fair peace deal, and we all know that framework is roughly equivalent to the Arab Peace Initiative, there was really only two choices for Abu Mazen, quit or restore Palestinian unity. With Olmert on the ropes, Bush being the lame duck, and now Obama bought and paid for with his claim that East Jerusalem must not be returned to the Palestinians, there`s really only one choice forward and that is Palestinian unity. |
