It`s the wrong way...Jerusalem is naturally and obviously "capital of the Jewish people"...but should not have been unified and declared capital of the State of Israel until peace be reached with the Palestinians.
What`s the point of this bill ? it`s an evidence for everybody (including Palestinians) that Jerusalem is the capital of the Jewish people...and what is the Knesset anyway to decide something in the name of the Jewish people ? (66 % of Jews aren`t Israeli, and 25 % of Israelis aren`t Jewish). I don`t understand why Tel Aviv didn`t remain capital of the modern State of Israel. |
