| I agree that this puts the lie squarely to the claim that terrorism is a result of poverty, lack of education and dire living conditions. I would be most hesitant, however, to use it as an affirmative argument for putting the boot on Palestinian kids. The consequences of applying this argument affirmatively are truly dire - Would you argue for starving people? Surley not. We need to defend ourselves against an enemy who often behaves insanely. I submit that we should not lose our own sanity in the process. |
