1)Canīt they temporarirly be placed to the Absorption Center for new olim while the social workers are working on their case? The parents could in the mean-time look for work and a new home for themselves. To be able to look for work and to work one needs be clean and have sanitary facilities available, which they do not have in a tent.
2)Give them a caravan-house or a "settlerīs" house in such a site, in Israel proper, which some olim have received from the state for free or at low rent.
3)The camping in Beit Zayit has bungalows, where they could stay over the summer-months, paid by the social, till the family gets on its feet. Better than in a tent with no sanitary facilities!
4)Maybe the family could apply for work and residency -later membership- in any of the kibbutzes around Jerusalem? |
