| Barak says "up to 300" Hamas fighters have been killed in the past six months. Various Israeli sources have put the Hamas membership at "up to" 50,000, with a virtually unlimited recruiting pool. Hamas is not quite on its last legs. Hamas has not stopped the Qassams, nor have they returned Shalit. It`s hard to imagine what Barak is thinking of when he says that Hamas is exhibiting signs of distress. As most with most statements from Israels government, there seems to be a disconnection with reality and an affinity for a world of the imagination. |
