| The Israeli peace treaties with its neighbors stand on shaky ground and depend on the continuation of one-man rule--the hostility in the general populace in Egypt and Jordans if anything greater than it was decades ago. So much for peace--there is no infiltration from Syria, so what will Israel get in return for a peace treaty with Syria?-will Hezbollah just vanish in Lebanon?---there has to be a lot more in it for Israel to give up the Golan than merely a piece of paper... |
