| It is not so much the actual Jewish vote that is the concern of Obama. It is fear of being smeared as anti-Semitic or anti-Israel by right-wing pro-Israel elements. If the current focus on the Jewish vote is harmful to the image of Jewish Americans, they have the right-wing Zionists to thank for it. It isn`t enough to be neutral on the Israel/Palestine issue, one must be in lockstep with the more rabid Zionists or one will be labeled. |
