I forgot to say, not only cheaper, but much shorter, much better, already proven in detail by complete geotechnical investigations and most design completed, and way more environmentaly friendly. The only fault: Jordan objects as it is not part of it. Only a beneficiary. But GAZA COULD BE PART OF IT. Arafat wanted it as a condition of Oslo. Another "fault" of both canals: it would cost money to both Dead Sea Works - Israeli and Jordanian. |
