If the people of argentina don`t care about corruption its there right. But in Israel when the Prime Minister`s often make life and death decisions with our childrens` lives. At a minimum the people deserve a person who will focus clearly on these issues 100% of the time.
A person who thinks about these issues in between envelope payments is not what the people of Israel need nor deserve. Maybe Olmert should run for PM in Italy or Argentina. It appears from the author he would be a perfect fit. It is insulting that Olmert could make the peace negotiations so trivial by claiming he could defend himself and conduct negotiations.
Olmert tell us day in day our how we have to make painful concessions. Well today the people of Israel are telling olmert he will have to make a painful concession; his job. Yet he doesn`t want to resign but the people have to
accept painful concessions? Maybe we should negotiate with olmert give him a first class ticket to Italy. |
