A few facts for all of those suggesting that Israeli Jews should be settling Germany:

1) any Jew receives immediate German citizenship upon request and can live in Germany. But many Jews aren`t coming, mainly because they do not want to.

2) Israeli Jews obviously consider Israel their home and have no intention of leaving, which is perfectly understandable.

3) Even prior to the Holocaust, many Jews wanted a homeland in Palestine (Herzl wrote a book on that in 1896). So even if the allies would have considered giving European Jews a part of Germany after WW2, many would not have wanted it.

4) Yes, the displacement of persons because of war or for economic reasons (i.e. the Palestinians) is tragic, but certainly not unique to Germany`s crimes in WW2. These displacements can`t be undone anymore than the displacement of Native Americans in the US or Aborigines in Australia. Palestinians need to accept this fact, make peace, and reach a compromise with Israel concerning their State.
