Sorry, you can`t justify corruption. In Argentina a minister resigned not so long ago because she was involved in a financial scandal. The Minister of Finances resigned since he was unable to solve an ongoing conflict with the agriculturers. Years ago, in 2001, people went to the streets - middle class- to protest the lack of ability from the government to find a way out from the financial crisis. The president resigned.
Argentina was and is a corrupt country. The only difference is that people are ready to demonstrate even during the dictatorship times . In Argentina any general who ends his military career as a director of a state-owned company would be scorn as "corrupt". Actually, no one would ever believe that a general should be compensated by being given a company. Israel has a lot to learn from Argentina: civil marriage, no official religion, the president can belong to any faith or race. |
