You need a lesson in democracy. The courts have no right to say to Olmert to step down as first minister, it is not their juridiction. Democracy implies the independence of the parlament and the courts respectively. It is interesting to see that the same people who want to curtail the power of the Supreme Court are those who want to give it extra powers when it suits them.
About if Olmert, by his policy, is destroying the country, that is an opinion not a fact and should be dealt in the ballot box. Kadima was elected to do much more than Olmert has done, so grin and bear it till next elections. |
