| Once again, we`re witnessing the undermining of an Israeli leadership, this being a centrist party Kadima (which was formed for the same reason by undermining of PM Ariel Sharon by Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu), while making significant progress in the peace process arena. It`s really a disservice for all parties concerned during these important months of negotiations, of Ehud Barak to suggest the suspension of PM Ehud Olmert, which would disband the cabinet and the coalition government actively involved with peace negotiations with the Palestinians and the Syrians. It`s highly unlikely that a Labour government will be able to win a majority in the elections, and we really don`t know the Likud`s agenda towards the peace process and land concessions, so any alternative to the present centrist government would be unstable for the region and global peace. |
