Check it out. Until a couple of years ago, it was the only city of its comparable size population that did not have a police station. They now have a small police "nekuda" at the request of local rabbis who were concerned about ruffians from outside Benai Brak breaking into cars & homes on Friday nights. I challenge anyone to disprove what I have written here. Despite their faults, as a community nobody can hold a candle to the humanity, sincerety, the menchlichkeit of the observant Jews. |
