The quotes provided by #5 and others are obvious fabrications- simply call the King Center in Atlanta if you need confirmation of this. In any case, even if they were real, it would be irrelevant because MLK died many years before the history of Israel`s ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians was well known (most of the important historical work on this issue was done in the 1980s). Any fair reader of MLK`s work would surely recognize that he would not have supported an occupying power maintaining a system of apartheid over an indigenous people, a state which defines itself as Jewish at the expense of the indigenous population.
Moreover, Jews did not play a very strong role in the civil rights movement, in fact the Jewish community at large was rather against it because they viewed, like other oppressed minorities like Irish Americans, as a competition with themselves for equality.
This article merely shows the depth Zionists will go to exploit the memory of MLK for propaganda purposes.
