I do business all over the world and every country I buy stuff in, the goods are priced in the local currency. In the past this was often a good deal for me when the exchange rates were favorable for the dollar. Now, of course, my costs are rising quickly and I have to be careful choosing goods.
Why do Israelis have so little faith in their own currency?
I have never had the opportunity to do business in Israel but would have been surprised to have gotten a bill in dollars.
I also can`t understand why the oil producers are still pricing their stuff in dollars. I would have expected by now that a parallel market in at least Euros, Rubles or Yuan would have cropped up. |
