Certainly many talkbackers are a rather scruffy lot, and I`m sure many would include me under that heading. Still, isn`t calling them `terrorists` just a bit like the Genocidophiles` rhetoric, to which Mr. Burston has taken such a dislike?
Of course, one also must consider the political background against which talkbackers operate. There`s far more sophisticated, and more effective, disinformation being put out, particularly on the "pro-Israeli" side, than anything you`ll see posted here. And just beside this story is a headline/link that reads: "On penalty of death: Rightist MK Eldad says those who give away Israeli land should get death penalty." There are plenty of crazies in this conflict who are (or should be) of more concern than obnoxious web posters! |
