| Bnai Brith asked for counterterrorists to go on the internet and answer or challenge the anti-semites. I started with Haaretz talkbacks and now I am also reading the Armenian websites. It has been educational for me. I am now going back to school to take political science courses and history as an adult student. This summer I plan on taking a course on the Politics of Islam in the Middle East at a very good university and possibly courses on the psychology of a terrorist, etc. I have also read the talkbacks on an Armenian website. Armenia is now under totalitarian rule. They are spammed by communists. Sometimes they closed the talkbacks because of the language, etc. of people against each other. They resorted to censorship when the death threats, conspiracy theories were repeated ad nauseum. Can you imagine what it is like to live in a totalitarian country, always being subjected to psychological tyranny, threats, humiliation. It is so much worse than living in freedom. |
