So it`s OK for Palestinians to demand return of land and property but not Jews? Not that these bubas were going to do that of course.
My father`s family had to leave Egypt in `48, leaving behind most of their possessions. They ended up in Australia - a country very similar to Israel in many ways. My father returned to Egypt once - 15years ago - for 48 hours. A former police commissioner now lives in his family`s old apartment. Do I think I have any claim on that property? Of course not! Dad`s family made a new life in a country where they were welcome, as did thousands of other Jews from arab lands... but that doesn`t mean I don`t want to visit my great grandfather`s grave!
