| As a fairly recent immigrant to Israel, I feel more than comfortable to say that Israeli drivers (Arab and Jewish) drive like animals. There is no respect for each other on the roads and no respect that cars are dangerous weapons. Before you suggest that I am an old and cautious person, I am in my 30`s and used to race cars for a living, but on a racetrack and the drivers still respected each other. What it really comes down to is that the police do nothing to stop this behaviour. They themselves drive with blatant disregard for any kind of traffic safety. |
