I agree with Joei but i can assure you that there is no one manager in England who would have done a better job. Even if Feguson would have been given tghis job instead of Grant - he would not jhave achieved a seconed palce in the League nor the runner up in the champions league - definitly not BOTH. The problem lies at the cuoture of chelsea compared with United. I(t has no long term paln as United has , not even as liverpool! The greatness of UInited is its managemnt. "21 years as trainer and not all thiose years were succesfull yet i do not recall Ferguson being considerd as a candidate to be fired. Thisstyle of ownership warants only one approach , players and managers - nmely joing the club for money and if glory comes too than even more money. That is why chelsea would nevr be a great club, never!!
