Yup.
The Syrians are not complete fools. They sense Olmert`s weakness. They know that his time in office now is *very* short. They know these negotiations will end with no conclusions.
Yet they will have rehabilitated their international image as "willing to go the distance for peace" -- which is a major goal after their N. Korean nuke plant fiasco.
And they get that all for *free*, because Ehud Olmert is a desperate criminal whose reckoning is fast approaching. *That* is the Olmert/Kadima legacy. |
