| Peace with Syria will happen, once Syria opens up to the West and the Assad regime is toppled. But for now, Israel simply can`t trust Assad to keep his side of any bargain he strikes with Israel. I don`t know if the Syrian people are interested at all in peace (hopefully), but I do know that the Syrian dictator isn`t, his foreign policy shows that beyond any doubt. |
