| There are many Israeli`s who would not be in favour of any peace agreement with Syria because it will obviously mean the return of the Golan Heights & would lead to pressure for similar withdrawals on the West Bank. There will be similar howls of anguish from Iran ,Hamas & Hisbollah because if there is peace ( & it is a big if ) with Syria it will lead inevitably to a Palestinian state living alongside Israel. The right wing/religious extremists in Israel & the terrorists who hate Israel will both be exposed for the fanatics they are. !! |
