The prospect of the Iranian regime gaining nuclear weapons is intolerable. Any nation whatsoever in the Middle East that possessed any nuclear weapons would deserve to be attacked and annihilated immediately, completely and without mercy. Any nation between the Mediterranean and the Indus that even contemplated acquiring such inhuman weapons would have to be blockaded, occupied, and invaded. Surely every reader of Haaretz, and indeed any decent person anywhere in the world, would agree to this.
They will deny possessing such weapons, of course. They will say that they just need such evil weapons for "defence" or "deterrence" against enemies more numerous or more powerful than them. But that cannot deter us: evil cannot be excused. Destruction to any such nation! |
