If only our europeans could stop referring to themselves or seeing themselves as europeans, and choose to cling to a more Universal Jewish identity as their national and ethnic identity. The same goes for any of our orientals or africans that cling too tightly to their diaspora identity and past. We need to get beyond our divided diaspora past without ever forgetting our Jewish past. Israelism is a terrible and worthless substitute for true Jewish nationalism and true Jewish identity, I don`t have to get into details, people who live here understand well enough what I am talking about. |
