this is but another example of political hot air. if you want to reach the hearts and minds of people then you must take action, not just legislate mere words.
the best thing the country could do right now to instill a unified sense of pride in hebrew and to send a message about whose country this is would be to change every single street sign so that hebrew is in the largest letters, english is slightly smaller, and there is NO arabic at all. none. make it crystal clear as to where they stand so they cannot keep moaning about discrimination. with no basis to make their argument, the argument goes away (and hopefully so will they). |
