| The Palestinians were told by the West to have elections - and in these they freely voted for Hamas. Obviously Israelis weren`t happy, but then the Palestinians were none too happy when the `Butcher of Sabra and Chatila` was leader of Israel. Both Hamas and the IDF have killed civilians so talking`s not going to be pleasant - for either side. But if you really want peace you have to talk to your enemies. |
